I am an experienced professional writer, journalist and translator. I translate fluently into both Hebrew and English. I have transated the works of other authors and myself - including a novel by the late Colleen McCullough - for publication in both languages. This site provides information about my work and illustrates my output.
For 20 years I have made a full-time living from reporting, writing and translating. I have held senior professional posts in the media - as a political, diplomatic and consumer correspondent, as a personal columnist for several publications, including two leading national newspapers, including the International Herald Tribune-Haaretz.
I have ghost-written and translated books, academic papers and articles for private clients. I am currently writing a memoir of my childhood in the almost vanished world of the kibbutz and in South Africa, and of life spent in Israel through several wars.
I was born on a kibbutz and graduated from Jerusalem’s Hebrew University in English Literature and Philosophy before going to the United States to complete an M.A. in English Literature at the University of Chicago. I also lived and studied in New York and Salt Lake City, before becoming a journalist.
